First Choice’s comprehensive, outpatient physical and occupational therapy practice provides superior patient-centric care for general Orthopedic, sports and soft tissue injuries, including Worker’s Compensation cases. Our experienced, caring team, coupled with our state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, allow us to develop an individualized rehabilitation plan that is specifically tailored to help our patients’ achieve their respective recovery goals. We specialize in the prevention and treatment of disorders, injuries, and illness of the muscles, bones and joints, including related post-operative rehabilitation.

Meet Our Physical Therapy Team
First Choice’s talented team of physical therapy specialists can be relied upon to develop customized treatment plans that will most highly benefit each patient, aiding in the restoration of mobility, reduction in pain, prevention of disabilities and improvement of overall health and fitness.
Tracy Ryland, Director of Physical Therapy
Prior to joining First Choice in 2016, Tracy served as Director of Beachside Physical Therapy, which operated five outpatient clinics in Brevard County. She, along with her husband Dr. Steve Ryland, PT, DPT, co-founded Beachside in January 2002 to address the area’s need for quality, outpatient Orthopaedic rehabilitation services. Tracy is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology; she also received a degree in dental hygiene from Brevard Community College. A resident of Brevard County for over 40 years Tracy is highly active in supporting numerous local charitable organizations and being mom to two children. Following a cancer scare in 2011, Tracy took up ballroom dancing to help strengthen the muscles in her leg following surgery. Since then, dancing has become her passion, with her regularly participating in (and winning) local and regional pro/am competitions.
Ted Landgraf, PT, DPT, Director of Physical Therapy
Specializing in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Dr. Landgraf received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2006, following his graduation from the University of Florida where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. His clinical interests are in comprehensive injury management and rehabilitation of Orthopaedic diseases and conditions. He is a skilled manual therapist and utilizes multiple techniques and approaches to help optimize treatment outcomes. A Florida native, Dr. Landgraf currently resides in Melbourne Beach with his wife and three children. When not helping his patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, he enjoys surfing, traveling and training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Amanda Mozdy, Physical Therapy Assistant
Board certified as a PT Assistant in both Pennsylvania and Florida, Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with concentration in Exercise Physiology from East Stroudsburg University. She also holds an Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from Penn State Hazelton, a CAPTE-accredited program. Amanda has a been a member of First Choice’s physical therapy team since January 2016. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, working out, watching and playing sports and spending time on the Space Coast’s beautiful beaches.
Tim Rivera, Physical Therapy Assistant
Tim is a graduate of Indian River State College and has been a practicing PT assistant for the past six years. He developed his love for physical therapy while working as a hospital nursing assistant intent on getting his patient’s out of bed to help thwart the effects of weakness that often ensues prolonged hospitalizations. Tim has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, long term care facilities and home health therapy, and for the past two years, providing outpatient care. His experience has allowed him to develop specialized expertise in a broad range of Orthopaedic and Neurological pathologies. He spends his free time with his wife and three children, attending various academic and sporting events and serving as a volunteer soccer coach for his kids’ respective teams. To remain on the leading edge of emerging physical therapies and ongoing changes in healthcare, Tim also enjoys continuing his studies through classes at his alma mater.
Mike Wolinski, Director of Business Development
Having joined First Choice in 2016, Mike is tasked with overseeing the ongoing development and expansion of First Choice’s physical and occupational therapy practice. For 14+ years prior to First Choice, Mike served as Vice President of Administration at Beachside Physical Therapy, where he helped grow the practice from start-up to five locations serving Brevard County. Earlier in his career, he held numerous managerial posts at StorageTek, Inc. over a 15-year period, rising through the ranks to assume management of worldwide sales and manufacture of key components for the global impact printer company.
Susan Coffey, Occupational Therapist
Susan Coffey is a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist who brings 18 years of experience to First Choice Medical Group. She attended Worcester State College in Massachusetts where she earned her degree in Occupational Therapy. She completed her internship at Rhode Island Hospital’s outpatient clinic and Butler Hospital’s acute care facility in Providence, Rhode Island. Over her career, Susan has been afforded the opportunity to build a diverse clinical skill set. She has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, home health and public schools. Susan specializes in neuromuscular re-education, hand therapy, fabrication of orthotic devices, joint mobilization techniques, sensory motor integration, child development and ADL restoration. Her passion is working with people of all ages and stages to help them reach their fullest potential.
Alicia Norris, Physical Therapist Assistant
Alicia is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and graduate of Herzing University Orlando campus, a CAPTE-accredited program. She graduated top of her class with honors and was an active member of the President’s Council. Alicia is also an active and current member of the APTA, Florida chapter; and she is a Certified Personal Trainer through AFAA. Enthusiastic about helping patients recover from Orthopaedic and sports related injuries, her passion for Physical Therapy was nurtured at a young age by a mother who is also a PTA. When Alicia is not working with her patients, she enjoys weight lifting and spending quality “mom time” with her three-year old son.
Christy Moore, PT, DPT, CKTP, APTA, Credentialed CI, Graston Provider
Christy grew up in Antrim, New Hampshire and moved to Brevard County in late 2010. Her parents are credited for giving flight to her love of PT when they enrolled her in specialized internship programs beginning in her junior year of high school. Christy went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Georgia State University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University. Prior to joining First Choice in 2016, Christy worked at Beachside Physical Therapy for over five years. In addition to engaging in activities with her dogs (“the boys”), she enjoys spending quality personal time with her family and friends, expanding her knowledge of and educating others on the benefits of essential oils and kayaking.

Welcome New Therapy Patients
When visiting First Choice’s physical and occupational therapy practice for the first time, please plan on arriving at or shortly before your scheduled appointment time, wearing comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear. In addition, upon your arrival, you will need to provide us with your driver’s license or photo ID, insurance card and the following new patient forms, as applicable.
For added convenience and meaningful time savings on the day of your first visit, please feel free to download, print and complete all required forms and those additional forms which are applicable to you and present them to our receptionist upon your arrival:
